Format

Round 1 - Groups

Teams are drawn into 2 groups and play each other within their group once.

Round 2 - Quarter-Finals

The Top 4 teams from each group are drawn into a quarter-final match. Winners progress to the next round, the losers of each match get knocked out.

Round 3 - Semi-Finals

The winners of each quarter-final are drawn once again into one semi-final match. Winners of each match progress to the next round, the losers get knocked out.

Round 4 - Finals (+ bonus game)

The winners of the 2 semi-finals compete in the Gold Medal Match, with the winners taking home the trophy.

The team that finished 5th in Group A has the opportunity for a bonus game against another team.
